Our Wine Country Staff
Garry Hare
President and Founder
Garry was key in formulating the original “Perfect Day” concept. He works daily to apply his many years of marketing, product development, and wine drinking to continually improve our product. Without his management and planning we would be little more than a burp on the side of the road. In addition his many years in technology has been invaluable in keeping us on the bleeding edge. If he’d never developed the mantra “gotta get a Mac”, you wouldn’t be visiting this site.
Jeni Nichols
Founder
Jeni is a Sonoma resident and wine maker for the last 9 years. In addition to researching locations for the guide, handling winery relations, and guide distribution, Jeni holds regular training and leadership conferences in Sonoma. She has held senior executive positions for a number of well know executive development companies that paid a lot better. She along with her husband Byron have been growing grapes and making wine since they arrived in the valley. Their last bottling of Merlot won first place at the Sonoma Vintage Harvest Festival. A former party girl who has her wine glass on the pulse of Sonoma doings, Jeni is the go to girl for all Sonoma happenings and she knows everyone in town.
Ann Hare
Founder
Ann's background in marketing and advertising is useful. She has managed both direct response and advertising agencies and uses that experience to handle her Wine Country duties. Ann's goal is to intimately know all wine growing regions in the world and to write-off all the trips as research. Living in an adjacent county, she brings a fresh eye to Sonoma doings since she's always asking "is it worth the drive"? If it's in the guide, it is.
Other Employees
Too numerous to mention are at your beck and call any time day or night or these days it's 24/7. Their home phone numbers are available to you on request.
