A COMPLETE ONE DAY KENWOOD WINE TOUR GUIDE
This is a self-guided wine tour to Kenwood wineries, hiking, shopping, activities, dining, lodging and the best of Kenwood usa. Begins with a stop at the Sonoma Mission Inn for breakfast and suggests only the wineries and activities that we’d choose if there was only one Perfect Day to visit Kenwood. We spent many, many days exploring Kenwood to design this guide for those of you who want it all, but only have one day to get it!
The following three pages comprise a complete self-guided tour to Kenwood's wine region. Copy, cut, and paste to your Word program, print and you'll have your own private tour.
ABOUT THIS GUIDE:This guide contains the result of our team visiting all the wineries, dining, and as many activities and hikes as we could find during our weeks in Sonoma. We chose only the experiences we felt best represented the bounties Sonoma has to offer. This is not to say that these are the only things you should try. It’s just that most visitors don’t have weeks to experience Sonoma, and when faced with the hundreds of choices, we felt it would be nice to have a little guidance. That’s why we structured this guide as one Perfect Day. Staring with breakfast and including wineries, hikes, dining, shopping and whatever else we really got a kick out of.
Before You GoAlso at the end of the guide, there’s a section for calls and arrangements you should make before you start your day or even before you start your trip. These are mainly for stuff not usually open to the public or special tours or events that you’ll need to book in advance. We’d hate for you to get somewhere and then miss something really cool because you needed to call first. We’ve also given you the two best places to look for events each month so you won’t miss a really cool festival or music happening while you’re off wine tasting.
MapsAlthough there are
about 50 maps of the area that you’ll see at every stop, they all show
every winery open when the map went to press and while it’s interesting
to see all the choices, it brings up the very reason you want a guide
like this—which are the best to visit? For our map we’re only giving
you the basic highways and byways so if you feel you need that North,
South stuff, just fold it up and stick it….in your pocket.
