Wine Country's ultimate art experience, the di Rosa Preserve: Art & Nature, is home to one of the largest regional art collections in the country. Entirely surrounded by vineyards, the di Rosa Preserve's 217 acres feature three art galleries, an outdoor sculpture meadow and a 35 acre lake set in the Carneros region at the southern end of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Wanna see the blue tree? Claude Cromier's now famous Blue Tree is a Monterey pine (diseased and destined to be chopped down) that is encased in 70,000 sky-blue Xmas balls. Find it at the Cornerstone Festival of Gardens, an ever changing series of walk thru gardens that show case new and innovative designs from the world's finest landscape architects and designers. Covering nine acres, this is the first gallery-style garden exhibit in the U.S. that allows art and garden lovers to see the work of the world's most acclaimed landscape designers. $9 admission charge for adults, $7.50 Seniors, $3 children over 3. This is the most amazing place you may ever find. There's a huge clock face from a European town hall, a life-size copper lion head from a condemned NYC building, columns, fireplace mantles, gazebos, statutes, and the kitchen sink!
